The Seller Journey
What Advisors Want to Know Before They Call
What's my practice worth?
Most advisors are surprised — either direction — when they learn their true enterprise value. Our institutional valuation considers revenue quality, retention, growth, and current market multiples. Get yours in 5 business days.
Will my clients be okay?
Client continuity is our first priority. Every buyer we work with is vetted for cultural alignment, service model compatibility, and transition capability. We only introduce buyers who are ready to serve your clients as well as you have.
Will anyone find out?
Confidentiality isn’t a feature — it’s a founding principle. Your broker-dealer, your colleagues, and your clients never know you’re exploring a sale until you choose to tell them. Every listing is anonymous by default.

Seller Success
What Advisors Say After the Close
I’d been postponing this for years because I thought selling meant losing control of what I’d built. The Elite team showed me how to structure a transition that protected my clients and honored everything I’d worked for.

The valuation they provided was higher than what I’d been told by other parties. Their methodology is thorough and defensible. I ended up selling at a multiple I wouldn’t have achieved on my own.

The confidentiality was handled perfectly. My team, my clients, and my broker-dealer had no idea I was exploring a sale until the deal was signed. That discretion was priceless.

Seller FAQ
Common Questions from Sellers
Is there any upfront cost to list my practice?
There is no upfront fee to list your practice or receive a valuation. Our compensation is a success-based transaction fee paid at closing — ensuring our incentives are perfectly aligned with yours. You pay nothing unless we deliver a closed transaction.
What is the minimum AUM to list on the Exchange?
We work with practices from $25M AUM, though the majority of our active transactions range from $75M to $500M+. If you have a smaller practice, we’re happy to discuss your situation and recommend the best path forward.
Can I explore options without committing to sell?
What types of transactions do you handle?
How long does a typical sale take?
Most transactions complete within 90–180 days from first consultation to close. Regulatory approvals, deal complexity, and seller timeline can affect this. We’ve completed transactions in as few as 45 days, and we’ve managed carefully planned successions over 3+ years.
